FIX OR REPAIR and NO not a FORD
Had a partial hysterectomy in Jan. and last Thursday had Cataract surgery. Hopefully this is it. I told my husband when we age we are just like cars that have age on them. Fix the problem, run for awhile and ------ find out there is another. One good thing about this my hubby likes what I like to call vintage instead of old, (much softer term) Hangs on to everything! I always complained to him about hanging onto every little thing BUT I guess its a good trait! Age comes to most of us (hopefully), we just need a little sense of humor to go along with it. Have a blessed day!

Its hard to believe that it is already the middle of February. Time has a way of disappearing like a blink of the eye! I guess the older you get the faster it goes. Since we are still in winter lets have some more snow! Our snow around Maine is going very fast. Since we do snowmobile some and have a camp further north in Maine where usually snowmobiling is great we are all praying for those white flakes. Vacation week is the time we go with our grandkids and their parents. We have such a great time. In the meantime I am making new things for my website lizziesraggs and thinking Spring creations. Hard to get in that mood but I`m trying. Hope to hear from you and share what your all doing to get through this season.

Yep, age~ we either get old or the other~ right now I like getting older~ like the wrinkles~ gray hair~ aches~ okay don't really like them but I have earned them!LOL
Yuk~ hysterectomy~ hope you are healing well from both procedures~
no fun!
enjoy your day

Sounds like you have a good outlook on aging. Just had dr. visit last week. Old Arthur is visiting more and more often. She wants me to see specialist. Hurts to walk, use my hands, right scarey.BUT am so blessed even in pain I can still do things and be out and about. Aging is a gift from God along with it some pain, but a lot of wisdom to share with the younger generation. Hopeing you are mending. Have a blessed day.
Ain't that just the truth?? Great way to think of each other - vintage! I'm going to have to tell my hubby that one. Have a great Sunday, Dawn
I have heard this analogy before, but have begun to take it seriously the last few years!lol Hope you are better.
betty
I have had both of the procedures you mentioned. The first took 6 weeks to get better, only the next day for the eye! I could see across the room! After the 2nd it is even better so hang in there! I live in a senior community...the Paramedics/ambulance are here often...we call it the Sun City Taxi! LOL As we say, "It's always something but aren't we glad."
Hugs, Joy
